Costume Shots

This was the only outfits that I had actually planned thoroughly. David and I wore the same colours but in different parts. For instance, we had a pink and a blue hat, me the blue, him the pink. He had a blue short sleeved t-shirt and jeans on (which are long) and I had a pink long sleeved shirt on with shorts on. By contrasting with the use of long and short, I thought our costumes would be perfectly balanced and harmonious which would make us appear to be similar and the other halves of eachother. Which I hope was implied.
For Courtney's dancing shots, I asked her to wear black as to look athletic and professional. The black also contrasts against most of the green that the shots including her have. It would also be easy to see her movement with her wearing black which was vital.

For the shots of me and David around in Stapleford, we wore pretty basic black and white clothing. I wore black and white trousers with traineres, a black denim jacket and a blue hoodie underneath. David wore a green jacket, a black hoodie, jeans, white socks and black trainers. Our outfits here are well co-ordinated as they use the same colour scheme but with green and blue, green and blue also look well together as they're natural colours.  David's costume for this day is seen on the right below.

For the shots of the sun rising and David and I dancing, we weren't concerned about costume at all. At 5.30am it tends to be quite chilly and we had to walk for quite a while with the equipment. So I wore some tracksuit bottoms, a jumper, and a big Levis coat which David wore in the shots taken in my music video. David (as seen above) wore a grey hoodie undernearth an Adidas track jacket, trousers and trainers.
Most of the costumes worn in the video didn't have much if any planning because the whole premise of my music video is natural and unforced. This is reinforced by David and I not acting at all throughout the video and it being a true story about a real couple. For the most part our costumes were spontaneous and didn't recquire much thought. However, as stated before, the first costumes were very meticulously thought out.
